Project Build - CJ Moto Guzzi Centauro
We picked this bike up from one of the salvage auctions we go to find wrecked bikes to part our for our used parts website, We Recycle Cycles.
I have always loved Moto Guzzis and the Centauro was one of those unique bikes that comes along very rarely. I could not let this one go by, nor could I assign it to the parts bins. We had to save it. I think it came out ok, what do you think? info@cjmoto.com
We would like to thank the boys at MPH Cycles in Houston Texas, for great advise and sourcing every Moto Guzzi part we could ever need!
MPH Cycles,
Since we did this build before we were a Rizoma and Dymag dealer, no Rizoma or Dymag parts were used on the bike. The Moto Guzzi Centauro link at the top goes to a universal fit Rizoma page. Most of the Rizoma products on that page fit Moto Guzzi and we now carry Dymag wheels for Moto Guzzi. The first few photos are what the bike looked like when we brought it to the shop. The rest are the end results.

All the Moto Guzzi OEM parts used in this rebuild came from MPH Moto Guzzi in Houston Texas, including the hard to find; fly screen, chin spoiler and rear seat cover.
